Overview (Applications for 2018 will open from 1st January 2018)London Map

Kingston is an ideal location to study abroad.  Based beside the River Thames in an attractive leafy suburb of south-west London, Kingston has a vibrant town centre of shops, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema. It also has excellent transport links and central London is just 25 minutes away by tube (or train).

Home to around 29,000 university and college students, it's a lively, thriving, student-friendly place, packed with historic buildings, leisure venues and open spaces for you to enjoy life as a student. It's also the seventh largest retail centre in the UK (according to the Kingston Council website). So you could never call it a sleepy suburb!

The Kingston University Summer School is a popular program for university-level study in the UK. It is open to international students from around the world who would like to study during the summer and experience British culture. Summer classes aim to minimize the amount of time spent in a classroom and maximize the amount of experiential learning in and around the London area. All classes require a lot of walking as they are all field trip based, so please only apply if you are happy to be on your feet a lot! Courses are offered in a variety of subjects ranging from business, visual arts, theatre, literature and more.
